News from Miloso. In this post an update about the bike maintenance training, water supply for the Miloso garden, the finished house, and news about the harvest! An update on the chickens and, finally, a video of Michael in the Miloso garden.

The buffalo bikes are all still being used, and it’s important to keep them well-maintained. Bike repair training has been provided to ensure the necessary knowledge remains available.

And then news about the harvest from the Miloso garden: a lot of tomatoes and corn are being grown. Food security is a major concern for everyone in the area. The Miloso garden helps with this. People from the village with less to eat can come and help in the Miloso garden and share in the proceeds.

To properly care for the Miloso garden, work is underway to improve its water supply. New water tanks have been purchased to supply a larger field. A dam has also been built to store and utilize rainwater near the garden.

A house has been built at the Miloso garden. Our previous post already provided an update on the house’s construction. It’s now completed, and Antony and his family will be living there. This way, there’s someone close to the Miloso garden who can keep an eye on things.

The chicken farm is running at full speed, the chicks are growing well, and sales are steady. Every two months, the chickens are sold and supplemented with new chicks. Each batch can raise 220 chicks. It’s wonderful to see the locals’ expertise and dedication. In short, a great success!
